Set up Twelve Seat in about 15 minutes

Twelve Seat gives a small business owner an AI Board of Directors (5 seats) and C-suite (7 executives) that know your business, debate your questions and agree on action items. It runs on your own AI account (Claude or ChatGPT), so you control the cost and the data.

The checklist

1. Create your account at Get started and confirm your email.
2. Connect an AI provider. Go to Settings → Connected services and paste an Anthropic (Claude) or OpenAI (ChatGPT) API key, then click Test. See Get a Claude API key or Get an OpenAI API key. You need at least one.
3. Fill in your Business Profile at Business Profile. It saves as you go, so you can stop and come back. The more you share (customers, numbers, goals, constraints), the better the advice.
4. Generate your twelve. At the end of the profile, Twelve Seat builds a board and C-suite tailored to your business. Meet them at My Board & C-Suite.
5. Ask your first question. Open the Executive Assistant and say what's on your mind, or start a meeting in the Boardroom.
